Following the successful delivery of twenty four beautifully appointed assisted living bungalows, Firecrest’s expertise was needed once again in developing a central hub for this unique site.
Our design for the care home at the heart of the development centred on accessibility, where each of the ensuite bedrooms was located at ground level with views to perfectly landscaped gardens or open countryside. The building’s social areas also included a bistro, pub and a gym, as well as a handful of retail outlets.
Our plans also included an inviting internal reception area, parking facilities and communal areas designed to encourage social interaction, encouraging independence amongst residents with the added benefit of care when it’s needed.
Once again, market inflation and delays on key material supply affected the second phase of the Lavender Fields development, which in turn brought some change requests from our client. The Firecrest team’s adaptability meant we were able to respond quickly to ensure timely delivery, even in adverse weather conditions.
