The safety of our team and the environment in which they operate in is of paramount importance to us. We, at Firecrest Construction are fully committed to continuously developing our health and safety awareness and ensure that health and safety is the top priority before and during any project. Our principal goal is to prevent all injury or ill health amongst our employees, those who work with us, and members of the public.
All Senior Engineers and Directors have undertaken the SMSTS course to ensure they are qualified to manage the projects they are controlling with all Firecrest Construction staff carrying valid CSCS cards. Our health and safety ethos raises our professional standards, increases site safety and protects every team member.
We welcome health and safety audits, which ensure we continue to achieve CHAS and Safe Contractor accreditation and exceed the requirements of the MCG Health and Safety Charter. An independent consultant audits our H&S policy and makes recommendations, notifications and updates to documentation, as well as providing insights into current legislation that may impact on our work.
Together, these factors have resulted in an exemplary safety record since our incorporation.
