Firecrest Construction we’re delighted to be part of the new William Merritt Centre disabled living centre in Leeds. The William Merritt Disabled Living Centre is a charitable organisation which provides impartial information, advice and assessment on equipment and practical aspects of daily living for disabled people of all ages, their carer’s, and older people. The centre which is run by a team of professionals and volunteers who all work hard to create a friendly and caring environment.
Our team at Firecrest construction have worked as part of this project, dedicating specialist tradesmen, materials and time to this project to ensure that more vulnerable members of Leeds have a safe place to get essential support and live in. We want to support the city at the heart of our business and help others within the community.
At Firecrest Construction we are proud to support our local football team, Leeds United through the sponsorship of Gary Monk. Gary Monk is the head coach at Leeds United and is currently taking the team from strength to strength.
Football is a huge part of life in Leeds, and is something the entire community can get behind and support. Leeds United is renowned for the passion of its supporters both when the team is playing at home and away and an extensive history as a team.
Garry Monks has quickly developed a reputation as one of Britain’s brightest young coaches and we felt passionate about supporting an up and coming talent, especially when it is on our doorstep. Garry is part of a new generation of coaches in England and has a lot of potential to develop, which is something Leeds can be proud of.
The Bedford-born defender made his first foray into management in February 2014, stepping in as interim player-manager for the remainder of the Premier League campaign and successfully securing the Swansea City’s top-flight status.
We are based minutes away from the iconic Elland Road stadium, meaning that supporting Gary Monks was an absolute must. We’re looking forwards to Garry bringing out the best in the team at Leeds United over the coming months and years, focusing on achieving the goals set by both the club and their dedicated fan base.
